Most Likely to Become a Rock Star Elise from This Song Will Save Your Life
Well, she kind of already is a superstar DJ so maybe this is cheating but still...
If there was ever a follow up, I'm sure we'd find Maise and her relentless quest to live life to the fullest would probably be causing some trouble in her new town.
Biggest Flirt Luke from The Moon and More and Lucy from The Lucy Variations
Luke was one of those genial people who do not always know they're flirting, which often gets them into trouble. On the other hand, Lucy knew what she was doing but she craved attention.
Fashion King and Queen Toby and his bow ties from The Beginning of Everything and Lillia from Fire with Fire
I love the name Toby so perhaps I'm a little biased. Plus he got the hipster nod of approval at the silent disco flash mob, which seals the deal for sure. Princess Lillia and her preppy cool wardrobe is by far and away the most stylish lady.
Girl You'd Most Want For Your BFF Kat from Perfect Scoundrels
The teenage, female version of Danny Ocean? Of course she'd be my BFF.
Prince charming, prince charming, ridicule is nothing to be scared of...Definitely one of the most charming and witty male characters I've read this year.
Celeste 'I do not use contractions' Watkins could have also stolen the title of 'Quirkiest Character', however I think this title is most befitting such a formidable supporting character.
Villain You Love to Hate Rennie from Fire with Fire
Rennie's not really a villain - just a little misunderstood with a lot of misplaced anger.
I couldn't help but picture Matthew Perry as the twins' dad in Fangirl and it helped add even more zing to Arthur's one liners.
I did not read any of these books! Guess I have more to add to my TBR pile :)
ReplyDeleteThat's what I found yesterday - my TBR pile is going to be huge!
Deleteomg YES, i totally want lillia's wardrobe!!
ReplyDeleteLillia is one of my favourite YA characters. She's so ladylike!
DeleteI chose Elise as Rock Star, too, so I say totally not cheating!
ReplyDeleteYay! Well, that's settled then.
DeleteYou've just reminded me that I completely forgot to read my copy of FLAT-OUT MATT! I loved FLAT-OUT LOVE, so I really should get on that. And I kind of forgot about Cath for Coolest Nerd. I *did* choose her (and roomie, Reagan) for Quirkiest Character. :-)
ReplyDeleteFlat-Out Matt is brilliant - Matt is such a sweet character. I agree, I think Cath is definitely one of the quirkiest characters out there too.
DeleteLots of books I haven't read! I totally agree with Cath being a cool nerd, though. I'd kind of like her as my best friend, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind Cath and Wren as my BFF's either! It was difficult to choose just one character per category.
DeleteGreat choices! I loved Toby and his bow ties too. And this is the second mention I've seen of FLAT-OUT MATT today. Clearly I need to read it!
ReplyDeleteFlat-Out Love and Flat-Out Matt are true gems. They're what you might expect from a New Adult book going by the original definition.
DeleteI chose Matty from F-OM as my high school boyfriend! I love him so much. And I could definitely see Celeste as prez. And quirkiest!
ReplyDeleteUnteachable just appeared on my radar a few weeks back. I can't wait to get to it.
Matty is so sweet! As a Friday Night Lights fan I loved that they were called Matt and Julie too! Unteachable is a roller-coaster of a story - I can't make my mind up completely about how I feel about the ending but it was effective.
