For more information or to join in, please visit the brilliant hosts of the YA Superlative Blogfest: Katy UppermanTracey NeithercottAlison Miller, and Jessica Love

CLASS CLOWN
Tia from Biggest Flirts
She was a laugh, always bringing band practice to a halt with her shenanigans.

MOST LIKELY TO BECOME A ROCKSTAR Caleb & Co. from Exile
Well, since they're already in a band...

MOST LIKELY TO START A RIOT
AJ from Rough Waters
Even though he managed to (mostly) stay out of trouble in this book, I'm sure we'll see old AJ return if anyone messes with Haley in the next one.

BIGGEST FLIRT(S)
Tia & Will from Biggest Flirts
Naturally. Special shout out to Bruno from Wish You Were Italian also.

FASHION KING/QUEEN
Lillia from Ashes to Ashes
Second year in a row for Princess Lillia. She upped her game in Ashes to Ashes too - we got stylish Valentine's Day outfits, riding boots, and dream prom dresses.

CHARACTER YOU'D MOST WANT FOR YOUR BFF
The whole Drenaline Surf gang from Rough Waters
I love them all. Whilst the storyline for Rough Waters wasn't my  favourite, the friendships were still superbly written. Who wouldn't want a gang of surfers as BFF's?

BOY YOU WISH YOU'D DATED IN HIGH SCHOOL
Hudson from Let's Get Lost
The beginning of Let's Get Lost was magical and although he wasn't in most of the novel, he was still memorable. Runner up would have to be Matt Finch from Open Road Summer

MOST LIKELY TO BECOME PRESIDENT
Ringer from The Infinite Sea
Obviously. She's a superbad genius.

VILLAINS YOU LOVE TO HATE
Sara and Brielle from Tease
People seemed to either appreciate or complete hate Tease. Sara and Brielle were awful but..they were behaving like many teenage girls and got their comeuppance.

QUIRKIEST CHARACTER
Celeste from Flat-Out Celeste
She's complicated and amazing and quite possibly my favourite character of the year.

  1. I love the Drenaline Surf gang, though I didn't read ROUGH WATERS. I liked the first book, though. She did such a great job creating so many individual personalities with a large cast. Have you read her SATURN book? Also a great ensemble cast.

    1. I haven't read that one but I'll definitely check it out. She obviously has a knack for developing characters and I'd take character over plot any day.

  2. Let's Get Lost and the Infinite Sea are ones I think I'll add to my reading list!

    1. I'd definitely recommend Let's Get Lost. As for Infinite Sea...well, it depends in how committed you are to the series. I suppose it's worth it for Ringer!

  3. You have a few here that I haven't heard of before. So after you mentioned FLAT-OUT CELESTE yesterday, I went and checked it out (and proceeded to buy a copy). I had no idea it was a full-length book. Yay! :D Definitely looking forward to reading some of the others you mention here too.

    1. It seems to be a love it or hate it kind of book but I think the message is important.

  6. I haven't read a single one of these... why are there so many good books in the world?!?

  8. You're right about Hudson -- totally adorable! I'd happily read a full novel with him as protagonist. And yay for Lillia the Fashion Queen. I absolutely loved how her clothes were described, and that she was so passionate about them. :-) Awesome choices, Sophia. Can't wait to see what you've got for tomorrow!

    1. A Hudson book would be great! Ha, yes she took a lot of time and care when it came to choosing clothes. I also liked her relationship with her little sister when it came to sharing clothes and make-up - so sweet!
