Top Ten Tuesday: My Lunch Table

Tuesday, September 2, 2014

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's theme is: Top Ten Book Characters That Would Be Sitting At My Lunch Table

I will preface this by saying Harry Potter characters have been excluded otherwise they would occupy the whole list.

Blair Waldorf - Gossip Girl - No explanation needed. Why wouldn't you want Queen B at your table? Serena...not so much.

Mia Thermopolis - The Princess Diaries - Obviously we need a real princess to go toe to toe with Blair. Just to keep things interesting. Plus, I'd like to summer in Genovia.

Jessica Darling - The Jessica Darling Series Jess would provide the snark and keep everyone in check. She'd also be my Barry Manilow buddy.

Ryan Dean West - WingerFirstly because he has an awesome name. Secondly because he's hilarious and would provide the entertainment without even trying.

Jonah Griggs - Jellicoe Road - The muscle. Nobody will mess with our table if there's a scowling cadet around.

Jordan Woods - Catching Jordan - I'm sure Jordan would watch The League and I'd need someone to discuss the episodes with and make all the jokes.

Jody Barton - What's Up With Jody Barton - Jody is a sweetheart and would be my Tottenham Hotspur buddy.

Ezra Faulkner - The Beginning of Everything Another one with a great name. Ezra would bring the cool factor.

Lillia - Burn For Burn - Someone would need to rival Blair in the wardrobe department.

Drew Leighton - The Sea of Tranquility - The glue. Drew is the epitome of a BFF and would make sure we all worked out our differences. He'd also invite us to his parties, which would be a bonus!

  1. AHH I love that you included Ryan Dean West!!! Such a great character/lunch buddy!

    1. Ryan Dean stole my heart! Definitely on of ny favourite YA characters. Can't wait for the next book!

  2. Blair would be a great lunch buddy! I can just imagine all the snarky/mean comments she'd make about the people passing by, LOL!

    1. Definitely! She'd provide excellent fashion advice too and help me enforce the 'tights aren't pants' rule!
